Add Approvers & Followers
Collaboration is key to successful project delivery. Add approvers who need to sign off on the SOW and followers who need visibility into progress.
Quick Steps
- Navigate to your Statement of Work
- Click Manage Team
- Choose the appropriate role:
- Approvers: Can approve or reject the SOW
- Followers: Have read-only access and receive notifications
- Enter team member email addresses
- Click Send Invitations

Roles Explained
Approvers
- Can formally approve or reject SOW versions
- Have full read access to all content
- Receive notifications for version changes requiring approval
- Can leave comments and feedback
- Critical for formal sign-off processes
Followers
- Have read-only access to the SOW
- Receive notifications about changes and updates
- Can view all task items, criteria, and tests
- Can leave comments for discussion
- Perfect for stakeholders who need visibility but not approval authority
What Happens After Adding Team Members
Once team members are added, they will:
- Receive Email Invitations - Automated emails with instructions to access the project
- Get Real-time Notifications - Updates when:
- New task items are added
- Criteria are modified
- Tests are created or updated
- Versions are published
- Comments are added
- Access the SOW Dashboard - View current status and progress
- Participate in Discussions - Comment on specific items for clarification
Best Practices
- Add Early: Involve stakeholders from the beginning for better alignment
- Right Roles: Use approvers sparingly - only for those with formal sign-off authority
- Clear Communication: Let team members know their role and expectations
- Regular Updates: The system automatically notifies on changes, keeping everyone informed
